The Fourth of July concert at the Starlight Bowl will thrill you when the Burbank Philharmonic Orchestra performs patriotic music favorites from great American composers at the Burbank Starlight Bowl.

Come early and bring a picnic meal.  BPO’s program starts around 8PM.

Join the Burbank Phil on Saturday evening, May 5, 2012 for the Family Concert of Symphonic Masterpieces!

The Burbank Phil is proud to present the “Picture This!” photography exhibition from the Photography Departments of Burbank High School and John Burroughs High School.  Students will display their images, interpreting a selection from this evening’s program played earlier in the classroom.   The students’ photography will be judged prior to the evening and the winners will be announced during intermission.  Monetary prizes will be awarded for the top images.

This concert will raise audience awareness of various art forms combined with music and promises to be a special evening!

Join us on Tuesday, June 14th at the Flappers Comedy Club in Burbank for a great evening of fun starting at 8PM.  BPO receives a portion of ticket sales. Tickets are $20 per person and you only need to purchase any two menu items such as drinks or snacks.  Or come earlier in the evening and enjoy dinner at Arbuckle’s Bistro before the show, beginning at 5PM.

Gather information about the November 13, 2010 Gala 20th Anniversary Celebration of the Burbank Phil.  Both the concert and parking are FREE!

Also learn about the “Amnesty for Instruments Program”, designed to get instruments back to where they’re needed most - in the hands of the students of our community who can’t wait to start making music of their own.  Amnesty for Instruments will accept donations of previously owned musical instruments of all types (except pianos and drums due to storage restrictions). Professional musicians will inspect the instruments and refurbish them, whenever possible, to get the instrument in working order. This is a tax-deductible donation and donors will receive a valuation form at the time of donation to use for tax deduction purposes. Look for the booth at the Fair, set up for this purpose, and feel free to drop off your instruments. You can rest assured they will be used with care and you can be proud you’ve passed the gift of music on to a new generation!
